    12. Now select the soft brush in size 9.
    13. Use the Eyedropper tool (which can be activated with the shortcut letter i), and click in a yellow area. That picks up the yellow color, so it becomes the foreground color:

    14. Then choose the brush tool (with letter b). Now you can repair the yellow flower edge:

    15. Finish the picture. Switch between the four colors and different brushes. Bear in mind that unless you are very good at drawing, the picture might be quite primitive – but that is quite allright.
    The Undo Function

It is difficult to make good drawings with a mouse – and thus it is easy to make errors. Like in other programs you can select Edit --> Undo Brush Toolpress the shortcut Control+z to undo the last action.
    1. Try that. Draw a crazy line anywhere. Press Control+z, and the line is gone. Then press Control+z again, and the line comes back.
    2. Photoshop has another excellent undo function. Try to make four random brush strokes. You can now undo them in this way:
    3. See the History Brush Tool palette. That shows a list of the operations that you have made in the picture. Each line in the palette represents one operation (such as a brush stroke). In the bottom of the list you see the latest operation.
    4. If you select an operation (click on the line) higher up in the list, all the actions below will be cancelled. In this way you can ”regret in reverse” in the picture development. Click on the second last line:

    5. Then the last brush stroke is deleted. Click in the line above – then another brush stroke is deleted. Try that, click up and down in the list, and follow the result in the drawing.
The summary of actions exists only while you work with the picture in Photoshop. When you save and close a picure, the summary is reset.

    Move the whole shebang

You can easily place your drawing completely cockeyed. That can be handled with the move tool, but first you have to ”unlock the layer”. That is one of the peculiar conditions you have to get used to in Photoshop.
    1. Select move tool by pressing v:

Size: 2.7 KB
    2. Point somewhere in the drawing, then try to drag it to one side. That does not work; you get an erro message:
    Name: 51.jpg
Views: 63
Size: 8.2 KB
    3. Before you can move the figure, the layer has to be ”unlocked”. Seee the layer palette, which is shown below. Double click on the Background layer:
    Name: 52.jpg
Views: 69
Size: 8.1 KB
    4. Now the layer gets unlocked, and with that you have to rename it (since the background layer is always locked). Photoshop suggests the name Layer 0, so click OK (or press Enter):
    Name: 53.jpg
Views: 95
Size: 12.7 KB
